Hello. Me and my friends are playing the second quest atm. Was wondering what happenes when you complete the first quest, do you keep your skills with the heroes and the equipment they have taken during the first quest, or do the start from fresh in the second quest with the + 100 coins you get for being level 2 and "rerolls" skills?

Nothing gained during the first quest carries over. Most people don't even recommend using the "basic campaign" rules, and instead start over from scratch with completely new heroes every game, but even if you want to use them the only stuff that carries over is your hero card and your starting skills (not extra skills purchased during the quest). Nothing else.

"At the start of each quest, the heroes revert to their starting setup, losing any coins, items, or training they have acquired from previous quests. They receive the same skills they had at the start of their first quest" (Basic Campaign Play, Quest Guide front cover)
