I don't see many people playing this. It seems like a pretty cool way to get around a first turn blockade or fear of winter, or a way to lock down their nobles if they play Power of Blood. Do people generally not find it that useful?

I like it and use it in some of my decks. It doesn't make all decks, but I like it that way (don't like auto-includes).

Too few gold for a first plot to cancel blockade esp. in melee where other 2 players will get benefit with their high-gold plots.

You never know when Power of Blood or another plot you'd want to cancel is going to be played.
