Few Questions

By bnorton916, in Battlestar Galactica

1. After making a jump all ships are cleared. Does that include basestars? If it does, when do they come back out? We never had a basestar after our first jump.

2. We had "Boomer" playing and in the sleeper agent phase she was thrown in the brig(per char card). We all believed she was a cylon and wouldn't let her out. What options did "Boomer" have?

3. Another player was a sympathizer who was also in the brig. What options did this player have? Do they play like a revealed cylon?

More questions as I remember them.

Yes. They only return via crisis cards. if you didn't get one - lucky you.

Get a red scarf, hang herself in her cell and resurrect with the Cylon fleet. Or not.

Depends on whether the conditions were met for the Sympathizer to join the Cylon's cause. Please read the manual and the card's instructions. The rundown: If one resource is red he fights with the humans and gets send to the Brig. Then he may or may not be able to get out. If all resources are blue, he gets tossed out of the airlock and ressurrects with the Cylon fleet albeit slightly neutered.

1. Yes, it includes base stars. New base stars are placed when a cylon attack crisis card is played. There are allso a few other crisis cards and destination cards that results in basestars being placed. It is clearly stated on the cards in all cases.

2 and 3. If in the brig and you realy are a cylon, you can allways reveal your self and go to the resurection ship. The other option is to keep trying to convince your fellow players that you are realy not a cylon... I found my slef in the brig once when I was human. The president wouldn't let me out, but I spent my turns scouting the crisis deck and so was able to help us win any way.

1 and 2 we did right. He ended up going to the resurrect ship.

I did read the manual and card instructions. We were in the red, but I couldn't find anywhere in the manual where that person now fights on the human side???

Page 19 in the rule book covers the sypathizer. The last part of what happens if a resource is in red says "Then treat this card as a 'You are not a Cylon' card". Ergo the player who receives it doesn't become a cylon (could still be one if his other loyalty card says so).

OK, thanks.
