Question about Leyton Hightower

By rwjohnson, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Leyton Hightower's ability says that Maester characters become immune to opponent's attachments. Does this only mean they're immune to attachment's on them (like Milk of the Poppy/Dragon Skull), or do they also become immune to attachment effects - say Hunting Spear/Venomous Blade/Poisened Knife/Ice that are on an opponents character but used on the Maester?

Both.

Wow that's pretty awesome then. Too bad he can't be saved...

I'd say "Fortunately, he cannot be saved" ^^

Just a matter of point of view...
