Str+DR for melee attacks.
Ag+DR for ranged attacks.
The number in parenthesis is the DR.
To clarify ... the number in parenthesis is the DR of the NPC's "default"/generic weapon(s). The numbers in parenthesis can be replaced by the DRs of specific weapons if the GM desires.
Generally speaking AG is used for ranged attacks. There are a few actions here and there that are melee based but can use the AG stat. These are good for both AG opponents or PCs that key off of AG.
