So as someone who doesnt enjoy roleplaying with hundreds of cardboard chits, I bought the guides and, with some house ruling, am looking forward to more old fashioned gaming. However, its clear that there are huge expansions on the horizon, so is FFG going to supply downloads of all the extra rules and careers? Afterall, you cant play the full game without buying the expansions. Seems unfair for us lite fans, who dont want to buy the glossy cardboard, but want at least as many roleplaying options as the 2nd ed game.

I think the only ongoing support lite player are likely to see is with the rulebooks being available for download in pdf format. That still won't give you all the rules and widgets needed though (actions, careers, talents, etc).
Perhaps we'll hear something cool for lite fans at Gen Con (August) but in the mean time I am seeing the guides as a lure to ensnare new converts. It worked on me...
