Sea of Blood dungeon pieces

By orpheus79, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I have Sea of Blood and have looked it over and skimmed the rules, but I don't see what I will ever use 2 of the dungeon pieces for. There is one piece that is a portal, and it is used in almost all of the dungeons. But there are two corner pieces and I don't see what I use them for.

Also the back of the 3 pieces are outdoor pieces, but I don't see when those are used either.

It's entirely possible that the quests were revised in such a way as to remove these 2 corner peices after the parts list had already been sent out for manufacturing. Wouldn't be the first time such a disconnect had occured (re: all the "replacement" monsters in JitD) As for why they're double-sided, I think all new tiles after RtL are double-sided just in case you want to use them in homebrew quests outdoors. FFG does a lot of stuff "just in case" like that, and I kind of like it about them.

The portal tile is double-sided because it's the exact same portal tile used in RtL. As in, they just ordered more of the same and put them in SoB boxes.

The two corner tiles are use in a number of the Sea of Blood Dungeons, they help make covering line of sight much more a challenge for the heroes.
