Have some question about Snow

By seonn2, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Have some qustion about Jon Snow (from basic edition) and Ghost cards. In base where i searched thay has

Jon Snow: "Ghost is immune to events" and respons ability: ~after win a challenge with Snow or Ghost, Jon gain 1 power.

However in my cards there is no Ghost immunity and Snow gain power from winning challenge with Night Watch

Additionaly Ghost on my card has no ability to give an immune to Snow.

What is the REAL OFFICIAL text of card now, and whence this fenomena came from??

That is the version of Jon Snow from the Valyrian edition of the CCG, released in roughly 2004. The Core Set/Basic Edition card looks like this:

If you want that Jon Snow, you need to actually buy the "Game of Thrones: LCG Core Set," not a "Valyrian edition" CCG pack from eBay or that your local retailer has had on the shelves for 5 or more years.

The "phenomenon" comes from the fact that the company prints multiple versions of unique characters and locations in different sets. For example, there is another version of Jon Snow in the LCG chapter pack "A Sword in the Darkness." You can use either one. All versions of the card are are "Real, Official" cards and you can play with whichever version you actually have. This allows people to play with favorite characters geared toward multiple strategies.

Keep in mind that different versions will be legal or illegal in organized play based on the tournament format. For example, your Jon Snow would not be legal to play in any "LCG-only" organized tournament (the most common format for organized play these days).

I bought the basic set. I understand, that is a failure of translators, what my basic Jon Snow (s136) look like the card u said

More over, my card has 3 strenght, and "no attachment exept weapon", not "now attachments"

thx, by the way, for comment. It was usefull
