I am running a Technomancer for my new Anima campaign and I was wondering what rules other people have used for their Anima campaigns when it comes to Technomagic, I am currently using some artifact creation rules i found and then based on the level of the artifact, one, two or three, I have assigned it a MA to activate it and a MA to keep it going, suggestions? thoughts?
Technomagic
I would probably look at the Book of Creation as I think a lot of the spells would be appropriate to Technomagic. Book of Destruction might be good too.
An alternative (which I always though would be the best option) would be to reskin Summoning to creating technology. Pretty much it could work as written, but the summoned creatures would be gadgets.
Tessellated armor that gives damage reduction?

This is a bad idea. Damage reduction is for different types of creatures. Creatures that are to huge to be slowed by a hit lige giants or dragons, or creatures that just don't feel pain like zombies or golems. If you want some cool armor you could take something with a high AT or some even damage shield
The rules specifically state that a creature with damage reduction only gets to spend 25% of his points on attack and defense (but they don't really spend any on defense) since creatures with damage reduction don't dodge or block.
Yet, damage reduction is available through a Ki Technique on page 105.
Cool, thanks for the help, feel free to keep posting or anything
I'm thinking Vrill. Like storage containers that use lives as energy to do awesome things.
you guys are mixing up damage reduction and damage accumulation. there is a monster ability in those who walked among us that reduces all base damage recieved.
For a Technomancer I would also go for Creation Path and mix it with very high Science and Forge secondary abilities...and/or Ancient Blood, of course.

The problem there, is that in the English base book, Damage Accumulation is called Damage Reduction. So when that ability came out, they had to call it something else. I don't remember what the English version of TWWAU called it, to be honest. But Damage Reduction to us is what everyone else calls Damage Accumulation. Maybe they'll get it right if they print Core Exxet over here.
im sorry to say but in the english book it is called damage resistance, not damage reduction.

Good catch. Was away from my books. But, I do believe that's what people were thinking of, was Damage Resistance(Accumulation), and not the Damage Reduction ability from TWWAU, like you said earlier.
