Walking through Menards I noticed plastic fence pole caps. These are the caps you put on plastic fences. They are just shy of 4" square so they fit in a 4" fence pole. They make great 3D terrain. I will try and put some pictures up tomorrow. I wish they were a little higher, but I am figuring out a cheap way to do that. They only go for 88 cents each. They are white so I think I will also paint them grey and add some detail to them.

I've not seen plastic fences before, good find, how about plastic fence posts cut to size?

I actually thought of that, I was just thinking how long it would take me to cut through with a hack-saw for the number of pieces I would need. Numerous plastic fences here in Indiana. I guess they are privacy fences.

For now the pieces are just about the height of a soldier. I have the snow covered trees for outside scenarios but I dont like them for the inside scenarios or the harbour scenario.

Shouldn't take to long, would be better though if you knew someone with a banch saw.
