Artifacts from the 41st Millennium

By Damek66, in Dark Heresy

I've recently procured copies of the Imperial Guard's Primer and the Munitorium's book. I was wondering if there were any other artifacts from the 41st Millennium available. I would especially be interested in the Emperor's Tarot or information on the game Regicide.

Many years ago White Wolf released a Mage Tarot deck that was very impressive, and Kult had the Tarotica (which unfortunately was never made in RL, the CCG doesn't count). An Emperor's Tarot could be an outstanding addition to Dark Heresy.

I run another RPG where the mechanics are Stat + Skill + D10, and for my D10 random number generator I can pull a card from the minor arcana as a substitute. I'm not sure if there is any official fluff about the size or content to the Emperor's Tarot, but if there were say 25 cards in the Major Arcana, and 75 in the Minor Arcana it could be used as a substitute for a D100. It'd really ad some flavor to Psyker's rolls. Oh well, just a thought...

From wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Tarot

The Emperor's Tarot (aka Imperial Tarot) is a pack of seventy-eight psycho-active liquid-crystal wafers that are linked to the thoughts of the Emperor. The Emperor himself is believed to have designed the Tarot; by consulting the Tarot his Will can be communicated. It is utilized by those with special training to receive wisdom and to divine the future. These cards are laid up-side down and then turned. As they are turned they are read and interpreted by the reader.

Mentioned cards are:

High Priest
Emperor
Harlequin (of Discordia)
Inquisitor
Assassin (of Adeptio)
Space Marine
Squat
Daemon (Major Arcana)
Hulk (Major Arcana)
Warped Renegade (of Discordia)
Galaxy (Major Arcana)
Star (Major Arcana)
Knight (of Mandatio)

To be honest that's all I know about the Emperor's Tarot. Edit; From what I can see, it looks like there is a Major Arcana, and at least 3 Suits. (Discordia, Mandatio, and Adeptio) if the above is to be believed. If I were to use the Emperor's Tarot, I'd say just go with a standard real world Tarot, rename the cards to a more 40k feel, and then use that. I don't see how you'd though make 78 cards into a d100 though.

Regicide from what I remember, is pretty much chess by another name with different names for the pieces.

Edit: From a previous discusion apparently.
