User Blogs at CardGameDB

By Darksbane, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

So with regionals coming up I thought this would be a good time to offer a blogging feature at CardGameDB.com

Blogs can be for an individual or for a group and I was hoping that individuals or multiple people from various metas would be interested in blogging their experiences during this years regionals and perhaps just thoughts on the game or games in general.

Take a look at my first blog post for a list of features and in the next few weeks I'll be adding in custom themes to choose from and writing up guides on how to customize the look and feel of your blog. Also if you already have a blog somewhere that is great too, you can add your blog to CardGameDB as an external blog, and even automatically import entries by using the RSS entry importing feature.

This sounds like an awesome feature!

Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to get it to work on my smart phone (running Android 2.2). It's possible I'm doing something wrong, but basically I can read your blog post, but I can't seem to create a post or add to one. Any suggestions?

Smart-phone capability is probably the only reason why I would use this blog. When I'm out at a tournament, I have my phone but no computers, and FFG's terrible forum (which has been exhaustively discussed) for some reason doesn't allow me to post with my phone. Thus I'd be posting updates from my phone to your blog, and then post a thread here on the Forums to look for updates to that blog.

It appears that I'm having some issues with my mobile skin and the blogs, I'll work on getting those fixed. In the meantime switching to the full verison of the website will allow you to create a blog and add records on your phone, at the bottom of the mobile skin is a link to switch to the full version.
