I have only one question

when I close the gate and then stay in that location for ex. for 2 rounds, until someone coming to me and trade with me the Elder sign..it is possible then, to seal the location with myself?

or when I close the gate at university...then stay there (no moving) and trade my gate trophy for clue tokens (in next encouter phase), it is possible to seal it then there?

1st question, kindof, someone can get you a King in Yellow, Research Materials, Elder Sign, or something of that sort before you close the gate so you can seal it. But you have to seal it while you close it, you can't wait around and seal it later.

2nd question, when a gate is open on a location, the location is replaced by the gate although Devil's Reef is kind of ignored. Regardless, in this case you can't use the special text of the science building, because you can't have encounters there (so you can't do that "instead of having an encounter").
