I came across Infinity miniatures this morning and I thought I would share. Specifically the Yu Jing section which has lots of sci fi minis with flecks of fantasy in the (gun / sword wielding assassins for example).

Hrm, most of the Yu Jing mini's look a little too Tau-esque, but then again, an unscrupulous explorer might eventually find himself loaded down with Tau gear and practically looking like one of them...

As one of Infinity's collector, I'd say they fit quite well to RT; but maybe not for 40k universe. It feels as a totally different settings. So IMO it fits quite well to RT but does not fit into DH (and 100% no for DW).

Their quality usually good as well. For guys in heavy enforcer / power armour, Yu Jing and PanO (and some of Nomad or Haqqislam) have something to offer. For the sneaky, I prefer Nomad and Yu Jing (they sculpt great ninjas). For the classic foot soldier style, all their basic troops (and the old-school military Ariadna) usually fits well.

Just my opinions though.

Considering the vast cultural differences between many Imperial worlds, a lot of the infinity miniatures actually work quite good as Guardsmen (be they from a unit of Imperial Guard or (more likely) PDF or mercenaries) or Assassins. Not so good for the other careers though, that's true.

Hmm, true enough. The Ariadnan and Haqqislam 'basic infantry' fits most Guard-type characters, while Yu Jing (especially Keisotsus) are unique guard / pdf (they wear Hakama!). Assassins (and anyone with Synskin or the likes) are abundant though; Hassassin and Nomad and Yujing have lots of them.

Aaaand just realizing that Nomads offer lots of 'mutants' (cat-girl, bunny-girl, horn-man, insect-guy, lolipop-loli, sexy nuns)...
