Diseased Rats

By Doc9, in Warhammer Invasion Deck Building

Never posted a deck before, but this one is so fun, I had to. Now, this is deck isn't a competitive deck by any means. It will not stand up well to Verena. your best bet there is to just try and be faster. Faster faster.

There are 15 cards that can be played first turn for resources. You really don't need to play much into the quest zone due to Chittering Horde and Grandfather's Call in conjunction with scout camps. The Fledgling Chaos Spawns are , of course, there for loyalty. Jezzail Teams help to speed up the damage caused by diseases, Vicious Marauders hit hard, and then you can corrupt most units to drop Great Unclean One for free or cheap and go for the killing blow after sacking all of the corrupted units. This is a fairly fast and very fun deck to play.

With all those diseases....why no beasts of rot?!

Well firstly, in my experience, diseases don't stay out long enough to make them all that useful for Beast of Rot. They have a tendancy to kill whatever unit they are attached to within a turn or two. Jezzail Teams really speed this up. Plus, I get the bonus of playing Great Unclean One for cheap AND pumping him up with Blood Summoning. It's just a better fit in this deck.

Secondly, it's a theme deck...and I like the theme without Beast of Rot.
