That is correct they said its a preview model. It is legal to play with but it will be released to the public to purchase in an upcoming expansion but, no they havent announced which one.

The store owner got 3 sets of the game night kit 1 for himself 1 for 1st and one for 2nd so first and second got both heroes

What makes them worth winning if they are going to be released then? FFG states that these two figures will not be out for months. Bottom line, if you are like me and your gaming store is not hosting said event, save your money from buying these on eBay as they will be released in future expansions.

Another option is to ask your gaming store if they can order this combat kit for you. What is the worse they will tell you? No. However you may find that they are willing to order it for you and all is well with the world. I have found out that it never hurts to ask (and more times then not I got what I asked for.).
