Hi ppl just wondering is there somewhere i can order UFS single cause getting packs and stuff is a bit of a problem living in newcastle, thnx for your time.
Store Bought :P
Both Travelling Man and Forbidden Planet can get UFS in no problem, I know, I deal with both of them at work. As far as I am aware there isn't a UK based singles site for UFS anymore, the 13th Floor used to do it along with Psisoft, so anything you order would have to be from America.
Patriot Games have a mail order service and stock/update UFS singles for virtually every set. If a particular card or expansion isn't listed in the online store, you should be able to locate what you want over the telephone.
Phoenix games in leicester sell them as well and they have a web site.
Just out of curiosity is there much of a player base in Newcastle? If there is I wouldn't mind taking a trip up there to play a few games.

You should totally steal the Yu-Gi-Oh players into our glorious ways! 've been doing it, and already stolen at least 4 of them in the past week! The best way to do it is to tell them that you want to play a new game with them that allows you to get to know them as people. Even if you don't want to, it's the best way to accumulate a group, and a lot of players are nicer than they are given credit anyway

EDIT - WHy is this forum so much of a pain in the ass at posting?
I have stolen several Yugioh players myself - One thing i've noticed is that some yuigioh players are only playing it because they know other people do and it's something to do. By making other games prominent (as it seems Joe is doing) some may hop over!!
Agreed. I've found that Magic players are slightly harder to convert, as they're (with many an exception) less desirable people to play with generally. They seem to be in it to win it rather than to have fun like a lot of Yugi players are. The way to get them into it, I've found, is to lend them one of your own decks that does win. If they feel they can accomplish something within the game, they'll want to play it more. If they feel like they wouldn't stand a chance playing against players who've been playing for a little while, they won't bother and will go back to the game they originally could win playing. It's a sad fact, but winning is rather important to a lot of people, so you have to play on that in order to convert them.
I've also found it very very easy to get entirely new players, as long as they've played at least one of the games associated with UFS. If you can connect with them about the computer game, generally, you can get them into UFS. Seriously, if you make the effort, it's really easy to get the new players raked in, as long as they feel comfortable playing it in whatever way makes them feel so. If you literally go up to someone you know and say 'I want you to play UFS with me' they'll generally at least give it a go. You've gotta be assertive with people, otherwise they'll slip through your fingers.
I think also if they think they can win something out of it as well helps i think the tag team idea is a brilliant one have an experienced play get either a new player or a inexperienced player to team up and make up a tag team should be sooooooo cool.
