In all honesty, that was the year cha0s only made it out to the melee, and was only at Kubla for 6 hours or so. He was busy, or something...

Just make them sign a waiver that none of those cards can be played against you (or lost as intrigue claim) in matches against you. >

Fieras, we're spreading the word but at this point the 4 from CaliCon last year will be heading up to Kubla. Maybe one or two more. Most folks down here are brand new... we had a casual quick tourney last night to keep everyone interested but we'll probably have more people willing to travel and play in a tourney in a few more months.

Our little meta went fro 4-6 weekly players, to 20-24 weekly players in a 2 week period, and we've been holding at 20-24 for about 3 weeks now.
It's actually a bit crazy, as I still don't know everyone by name.
But yeah, only James, Alex, Ryan and I will be there this time. But, that's still better than last year when it was just me!
Jester, you're in the 20s down there?!?! I had no idea man, that is fantastic. If it stays like that for next year, we should really think about doing a San Diego and/or LA Area Regional. I mean, your regular play nights are outdrawing Regionals in other parts of the country. It's a long way to travel to Kubla for that many people. Let's bring the regional to them next year! All in favor for two California Regionals?

Yup I was at CaliCon Fieras (I'm James), although I don't think we were ever matched up. I barely missed out on that pink Sansa playmat with the custom logo! If you were in on the epic Robo Rally game then we know each other for sure.

Wow, I remember like 4 years ago trying to get something going down there when I was still in school (never did show, did I?). Anyway, I whole-heartedly think you should put together an SDCon since CapitalCon is no more (for now). I would love another reason to come back down and play some cards, eat at Sushi Deli, and hit up the Shout House.

Dear God man, that's insane... I'm gonna have to take credit from demo'ing there 3 years ago I think... I was just seeding the interest for you to nurture and evoke.
It's all thanks to the show, and Bronson running demos at Kingdom-Con.
We will definitely try to get a regional down here next year if these numbers hold. It'd be nice to do it at Kingdom-Con, but it's a little too early for regionals. Anyway, were gearing up for a Summer League right after Kubla. Should be fun.

I just got the regionals stuff in the mail (To my address in Chico). I am going to pick it up this weekend. Danny and Luke and I are working on some other prize support as well. I think Danny is making another "Wall of Expansion boxes" and I have some silkscreen prints of john snow, and jaime lannister. I am also looking at getting some custom gold tokens made, and Luke is looking into getting his woodshop students to make some power tokens/house cards again.
Fieras, I had custom gold tokens created for Kingdom-Con as prize support through Jason at Dapper Devil. I'll send you a message on facebook with the details later tonight.
I just talked to him.
Trying to figure out how I can afford it. He said something like 70 cents per token.
