TN Regionals Info

By longclaw, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Just wanted to throw out a quick reminder about the TN Regional on May 28th (Memorial Day weekend for you East Coasters who want a road trip on that extended weekend!).

The tournament will be Joust. Last year, we had 16 players, and I'm expecting roughly the same this year.

We plan on getting started at 11:00 at DeWayne's World in downtown Kingsport on 459 East Sullivan St. (423-247-8997 is the number for the store), with pre-registration at 10:30. Decklists will be required along with your share of the registration kit (probably about 10.00 a head). You can print out decklists beforehand if you like, to save time on the morning of.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Looking forward to It!

This could be my year...... :)

Update - Forging the Chain, the 2nd Chapter Pack of Secrets of Oldtown cycle WILL BE LEGAL for the TN Regional to be held on May 28th. I'm not sure the store will have them in stock after several of the locals pick theirs up, so if you're planning on picking one up before the tournament, you may want to let the store owner know (ASAP) so he can have one here by next week.

Right now, we have around 12-13 confirmed, with another 4-6 "maybes"...

Just want to confirm yall are on eastern time over there correct?

Yes, we are. I noticed you were in TN from your BGG profile. Which part? (SO excited you guys are coming, btw!)

South of Nashville in Murfreesboro. We're excited too. It has been a long time since any of us has played in an official constructed tournament for any game. I think my last one was at Gencon for either the Warlord or City of Heroes CCG quite a number of years ago. We've been playing mostly melee lately so we are trying to get our mindset and decks switched over to joust. So far I've got me and 2 others coming definately and one more that I'm trying to convince.

Awesome. I really like Murfreesboro. Used to go down there for competitions all the time (both when in High School and when teaching High School).

Entry fee will be 15.00, fyi. This will give us enough to cover the kit and help out the store owner a bit by buying some gift cards to give away...

Hitting the road for the TN regional. Should be a blast

I'd just like to say thanks to Longclaw for running a awesome tournament. We had a great time there. This was our first GoT tournament outside of our small playgroup in Nashville and all of us had alot of fun.

Huge props to Darksbane and crew coming from Murfreesboro, Kenny coming from Lexington, and Jayke coming from MO (!!!). Glad you guys had a good time. We were lucky to have each of you.
