map of story 5

There is an unnecessary 'sealed door' on the map, right ? It prevents the movement between two rooms (a hallway and something else I do not remember) that are not connected.

Should it be somewhere else (I did not find any obvious spot) ?

My books are not handy, but it might just be to break up the flow of movement in the house... force you to go the 'long way' around to get to one or the other. Not every sealed off room has to be significant to the plot... also the map doesn't change between variations of the scenario so maybe it is used differently in other variations?

thank for the reply. I finally understood by looking at it more carefully. It seems that hallway 2 has an open end, so to make sure you cannot cross the wall of the study, they put a sealed door between both... :)

We came across this, and decided that it was due to another misprint for that map, and that hallway 2 should actually be rotated 180*.
