Hi everyone,

How can you hire new Lieutenants ?

I know you start with one when the campaign starts, but how can you add more than one in the overlord's party.

Lieutenants are overlord upgrades. See page 24.

The overlord may buy one (and only one) of the upgrades described below each game week using his XP.

Avatar Upgrades can improve the Avatar itself, upgrade a specific type of monster, or bring into play a lieutenant for the overlord to command.

Note that the FAQ has clarified that Lts can not be bought with the OL's 15 starting XP. FAQ pg 8

Q: Exactly what cards and upgrades can the overlord spend his initial 15 XP on? Can he purchase lieutenants?
A: Avatar upgrade cards only. No lieutenants.
