Initiative with multiple actions

By Pavlovian, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

Small question:

Suppose a character (AGI, DEX both 5; lvl 1 +5 Init) that attacks with a longsword (Init 25) and casts a spell in the same round (Init 45)

What would be his initiative that round?

Or would he have two initiatives that round, to cast the spell at Init 45 and then attack at Init 25?

If the spell is a passive action it does not effect initiative. If the spell is an active action, I do not think you are allowed to cast it and attack with your sword. Usually only one active action per turn. there are rules that allow for more. Like moving and attacking or attacking twice, but you can't just do two active actions because you want to.

Page 79 under 'Actions' section

"Note also that a character can normally perform each type of Active Action only once per Combat Turn. "

Active Actions

Attack an enemy

Use Active Spells or psychic powers

Use physical abilities

...

So, again, if I use an attack and a spell, and the Initiative of both differs, which one do I use?

I can't provide references at this time, but from what I understand:

You're allowed to perform each active action once per turn (provided it is within your actions-per-turn limit which is determined by dex+agi). You can't split up your active actions (so if you have two normal attacks, you can't take two attack actions with one attack during each of them). But if your action limit is 3, you could move, cast a spell, and attack all in the same turn.

About initiative: Your physical attack initiative when multi-weaponing is equal to whichever one is lower (worse). So I would assume that if you're doing multiple things with varying initiative, your initiative (which is only rolled once per turn, by the way) would be equal to the lowest of them.

P. 78, 79

it states that before rolling int. that you must pick what actions you are doing. If you are dong multiple things that effect int bonus use the lowest one ie like attacking with two weapons. so in this case you would you the weapon int.

Also when doing mulitiple actions rembeber each additional action has a -25 penulity that stacks ie i want to cast a spell attack and move. well i would cast my spell at no pentaly, move if the dm calls for a roll based on senario then that roll would be at -25 and then my attack would be at -50. This would all be if my dex and agi was high enough to give me 3 actions around,.
