It is 1:30am Sunday. 7CST Saturday is 3am Sunday. I can stay awake to 7CST and play our game but if the game starts later I cannot join you because I would have gone to sleep.

Well guys I am in Vent as well as Void we are ready to get started anytime, we will continue even without anyone showing up so if you don't wan t to miss out come and join us.

Last nights game was great. The Arch-militant and ork did a very fine job. we Have captured our first pirate ship with one more possible victim still flying about. looking for feed back from the party to bring up possible handling of the mass of prisoners and any other character based objectives that you would like to set at this point. please feel free to comment, and the void master should be aware that he is missing so great fun.

I have some idea:

1. Try to board the other raider.

2. See if the raiders have something of value(armor,weapons for both the explorers and to upgrade the crew, cargo,information,components).

3. Emergency repair or scuttle the pilgrim ship.If scuttle take pilgrims with you.

4. See who in the crew of the raiders is trustworthy, space the rest. Put some of pilgrim ship crew and your ship crew as a prize crew and send them to Port Wander or Footfall depending on what we decide to do with the ships.

5. If the ship has valubale components or we decide to keep send the ship to Footfall for repairs, or take down of the valuble component.

6. Deliver if possible the pilgrims with the pilgrim ship to their destination Footfall and gain a bonus in relation with the church.

7. If we capture both ships deliver one ship to Port Wander to the Imperial Navy for bonus points and if we decide to keep the second send it to Footfall to be repaired, otherwise deliver the second ship to the instution that we can obtain the greatest influence(the church or imperial navy).

8. Shop a little in FootFall for weapons,armor,gear(for camping on planets) like a force shield or to upgrade the ship ability to do aquisitions,rummors.

9. If we decide to keep the grand cruiser buy emergency components to be installed on the grand cruiser so that he can be towed and repaired, or inquire about a salvage crew.

good ideas Thor, did you get your Mic yet? so far you are doing well in the combat, just need you to be more involved in the planning stages. To start with you are the only one trained in imperial tactics just as I'm the only one trained in command. Though you will be having an interesting session of gambling with the Ork for the choice personal gear :) It might also be a good idea to take the command skill at rank 3, I more than likely will not be doing a lot of ground side combat. i tend to perform better with a deck under my boots. You and the ork are a good pair, as far as i can tell from the first boarding action the rest of the crew was more of a distraction. Still have no idea what happend to the Emperor's Mercy, hope they didn't get lost. But i will try to take that other Raider. Hopefully with fewer holes demonio.gif

When we had the game session Saturday for the first half I spoke in the mike. Didn't the mike didn't work?

When could we hear the recording for this session?

I noticed the speaker icon light up but no sound.

Just making a post to see how many of us are left in the game. We now have an NPC Void-master on the emperor's Mercy due to the fact that the controlling player hasn't been on. we are nearing a point where things will start to heat up and we will need everyone present to pull it off. Asajev and I are off and on vent most of the day so you should be able to reach us. and don't forget to post.

I agree, if anyone wishes to join in for this weekend game please feel free to post here.

Hey Asajev, It might be nice to get everyone together before our next session to gather input on our next steps in the adventure. The arch-militant has a mic now, so he will need some time before hand to set up that up. The ork is good, no issues there. We will need another player to claim the void- master unless his player comes back. The other thing is that the Seneschal is maybe a little to laid back. Even though you are treating him as a NPC he was created as a PC.

most Rogue traders have some form of acquisitionist, but they won't have the insight that a player character might have. I know that you want to sit back and let the players control the situation, but i really don't want an idle character type that is designed to be a spy master and aquisitionist. I respect that Godwin is your character, but as such i would like to see him involved with the rest of the group. also, at our current rate we will need other players to cover the other classes. The explorator and Missionary in particular( not sure if NPC will work because the fleet will need players that can undertake independent extended actions.

Well, so far the game is going well. I would Just like everyone to be a little more involved and not simply deferring to my actions. The arch-militant should be chiming in once in a while with tactical insight after all he is the only one with the skill at trained.

I hope no one takes offense, just wanted to give you my input. Kind of hard to enjoy a RPG when it feels that i'm the only one at the top. Thor has been good at leaving suggestions on the forum post. Just need them in game.

Why don't we use skype or yahoo messanger there I don't have the problem with the mike(the mike works)?

It was established that we start a hour earlier at Saturday 6PM Eastern so it would have been easier to me(Saturday 6PM Eastern is to me Sunday 2AM GMT+2)

nice to hear from you two, we still have another pirate to possibly board. Things are about to get interesting as we near the the end of this first adventure, i hope that at our next port of call at FootFall that the ork can get Omari Godwin to open up a bit. He seems more than a little tense. anyway i will see you all Saturday, i'm guessing at 7:00 my time or are we starting at 6:00 eastern?

You mean chop'him open or do that touchy-feely Eldar stuff?

If you haven't notice, Omari doesn't say to much with out mentioning his explosive collar. He also wasn't to keen on sharing his secret mission. To put it bluntly the character has it's skills and uses although slightly diminished for a seneshal, personality wise he seems to be carrying a lot of past with him and seems kind of dead weight ish. I know his character type is mean't to be in the shadows, but he should show some form of ambition. I feel kind of lonely for a Rogue trader because my close circle of advisers is semi detached from the game and be have much like NPC's. Graf seemed to be in his element during the boarding action, and so was the arch-militant. Just need him to make more frequent use of his tactics skill. I'm still getting use to role playing, but i've played a few sessions before this game so i semi know what i'm doing. I just want everyone to be more active and involved instead of me making all the calls. even with out the skills, the ork might be able to add some kind of insight based on his time as a kaptain.

If you are all in with salvaging the entire Righteous Path we might want to either buy or rent a mass conveyor. Big things are about to happen, the ork will have enough XP at the end to get him sanctioned. Question is who do you want to vouch for you? Other topics, If I go Privateer which faction besides the navy should i try to get a letter of Marque. We might also try to get additional information out of Orbest Dray. after all, he is still on my ship. Might also want to start repairs on the pirate vessels we will drag with us.

Please post any activities you may wish to accomplish when we reach foot fall.

1.Get some heavy weapons or tank,explosives,grenade launcher, or a energy shield or phyhycher protection or some navigation aide, or gear for void combat. A good Idea will be as a reward for saving the pilgrim vessel we could have our guns,weapons or armor blessed and made holy.

2.Find out if there anything worthy(as a threat or opurtunity ) in the region we travel.

3. If we go privateer probably it is best to cosy with a more liberal but not outright heretical mechanicus sect(so we can have legitimite reason to sell/use xenotech or archeotech).

4. Make sure the salvage crew are trustworthy.

5. Find out a secure shipward were we can repair the grand cruiser.

6. Can we post the ship components again.

7. For who to vouch them I believe it will be the local church maybe as a reward or the a friendly inquisitor in return for doing some missions for him.

8. In general we should not spend much time in Footfall to be ahead of our competition to reach the grand cruiser and set a trap.

your rather supportive of the church counting that you are a mutant. Ending up as privateers working for the inquisition might end up happening anyway given our seneshal. The PanzerDragon might not have the room for a tank, maybe a Rhino or 2. Personally i would like to get a hold of an Eldar Falcon grav tank,lol.

Also thor you missed the past ruling by asajev, if i can get it using the free acquisition rules, i more than likely have it at common quality. In short I have grenade launchers, missile launchers, mortars. if you want to check what i have not including power weapons or exotics just use the acquisition ( if it has a modifier of +0 or higher i have it) mind you i don't think i have anything of poor quality. Ork hasn't tried to improve anything yet,lol.

Now, just for consideration if we do end up with the inquisition our actions will be carefully watch. If we do end up basing our selves in a system with friendly xenos or find some lost artifact and so on, things can and more than likely will go stale for us. The nobility might be an option, they don't tend to ask to many questions. we can talk more in game, just wanted to get an idea on what direction the group wanted to go in.

At this time I am in Vent and we can have a Pre-Game chat, we will start in about 2 hours or so I am still setting things up for tonights game. The plan is roughly 2-3 hours of game play so be ready. Thor if you can show up early we can run through checks on how to set your mic up in vent so you can talk properly.

From my player profile you will note that I hate pirates and Chaos so I will be neutral or like the Church.Also the Church is powerfull organization that you should not antagonize for the lulz.Holly weapons or armor is usefull against deamons or chaos and we will face both in the Expanse so we will be prepared.

The other organization that I sugested we make friendly overtunes outside the imperial navy is a liberal not heretical sect of mechanicus(use of repair facilities , xenotech and archeotech, quest that will bring us toward good technology,ability to legitimitly trade xeno tech).
