On the note of Multiple Rogue Traders, this is starting to look like a fun and interesting Merchant fleet, as in a previous post all Dynasties involved have their own Profit Factor to signal the independent resources of each Dynasty. The issue we should handle from the start before we set in the adventures is how to handle profit factor between the dynasties. Do you divide it evenly as much as possible through all of them or how do you guys wish to handle it. No real set rules in the books for this so I am opening it up for house ruling agreement.

Warrant History
The Razgriz dynasty is very old indeed. At the beginning of the 31st millénium, the God Emperor was walking among men, leading the Great Crusade, and looking for the still lost Primarchs. It was the time of the first Warrants of Trade, given to loyal servants of Mankind to pursue the Crusade with private fleets. Most of this Warrants were were bought by very wealthy trade houses or given as a reward. Mort Von Razgriz, a Germania Conglomerate Terran, captain of a Crusade exploration vessel, was rewarded. It was he, who rediscovered Medusa, and founds signs of the presence of one of the Emperor's Lost Sons.
The dynasty claims proudly that the Warrant was one of the very first document to receive the Seal of Ferrus Manus, but it is nothing against the prestige of having a Warrant ratified by the God Emperor itself as well. There are three original copies of the Warrant : one kept on a heavily garded stasis field in St Drusus'Chapel on the Ex Cathedra, one on Medusa, and the last copy in the Imperial Palace.
The dynasty was in all conflicts and crusades across the whole Obscurus Segmentum, even fighting against Abbadon during three Black Crusades. The Razgriz dynasty was specialized in exploration, blockades runs or trade with isolated or to be conquered worlds and sectors. Across the Millenia, they helped many Battlefleets, vanguard of the Imperial Navy and founders of many Navy advanced stations and dockyards.
Alas, the dynasty path to fortune was put to a sudden halt in 359M41, During the Fensk Calamity, the battleship Tempest's Child crashed on an orbital station, destroying in the process, among other ships, the whole von Razgriz fleet. . Only Ex cathedra survived this cataclysm, but the then Warrant Holder Hector Bulliwif Von Razgriz unfortunately died.
A conflict arose within the family between three factions:
the Razgriz itself, led by Hector Bulliwif third child, Vendigroth;
Zephyra Razgriz-Sinos, the eldest child married to the heir of Sinos dynasty;
and the Sabrehagen dynasty, recurring competitors who wanted to claim the Razgriz warrant , leaded by Jaffar Montague Von Razgriz, Zephyra's desinherited twin brother, who fled to wed Sabrehagen first daughter, Capuleta.
These conflict was fought both in bloody battle and in Imperial justice courts. Vendigroth successfully negotiated from Angevin himself that the proccedures shall be frozen until the Crusade shall succeed, and the Sector pacified. But with Angevin death, the Sinos managed to buy enough counsellors to obtain that the Warrant shall be suspended too, and Ex Cathedra disarmed and docked.
Vendigroth, really pissed, grounded himself his Light Cruiser on the summit of Hive Argopolis : to this day, this hive is unstable due to this grounding, and was little by little abandoned. A few milion deaths in the ensuing Hive quakes was a small price to pay to strike a major blow on his ennemies'finances, As Argopols was a major joint-venture between the Sinos and the Sabrehagen.
For a millenia, the feud had burn between the three familly. Wars, assassinations attempts, terrorist attacks erupted as well as thousand proccedures, appeals and trials were made before the new Calixian Courts. As centuries went on, Vendigroth descendants were taken contaminated bySinophia's melancholy, as the world degenerated from the vanguard bastion of conquerors to a forgotten frontier world... Eking out a living on the ruins of their wealth, they nevertheless continued to maintain the Ex Cathedra, and to educate propperly the most promising heir among them. Last inhabitants of Arcopolis Hive,they used the planet-bound starship as a forteress and cathedral.
The succession war worsened in 611M41, when the line was almost extinct after a cowardly bomb attack sponsored by Razgriz-Sinos, which destroyed Ex Cathedra prow macrobatteries. The sole survivors, the twin sisters Xandra & Undine Von Razgriz, were then approached by a young scion of a prestigious lineage, named Erasmus Haarlock , along with other family members. He promised to help the young women to exterminate the Sinos-Razgriz and restore their grounded ship, provided that they help him in return to destroy the Sinos itself. This was done discreetly, and Erasmus did pay for the restoration of the prow bombardment canons, using mechanical reloading systems quite similar as the Clockwork Court in Sinophia Magna.
Erasmus fell madly in love with Xandra, and the marriage was authorized by his patriarch and uncle Albrach , as Erasmus was not vital to the dynasty. Meanwhile, Undine, although already married to a Sinophian noble, had fallen in love with a cousin of Erasmus, Mathias, she met briefly at her sister wedding. She conceived a child in this brief union, keeping it unknown to everyone. She did well because Albrach Haarlock dies without an heir, and in the turmoil of the Haarlock succession, Mathias sold his soul to the Dark Gods and murdered Xandra and her daughter...
The rest is a well known history: an enraged Erasmus Haarlock destroyed one by one each member of his family and then disappeared in 703M41. Of course, he saved his wife's family. Undine died with her secret: she knew she was not wealthy and influential enough to survive such a scandal, and have already a warrant to secure.
At long last, the Von Razgriz inheritance case was finally judged in last appeal by Lord Sector Marius Hax in 814M41, in favor of Vendigroth descendants. There were only one left : Lucretia Victrix IV Anastasia Von Razgriz, Battlefleet Commander .

Vessel Role & History

Ex Cathedra was the very ship Mort Von Razgriz, the Dynasty founder, commanded. The ship was the only survivor of the dynasty fleet during the infamous Fensk Calamity in 359M41, when the Battleship Tempest's Child crashed on the orbital station . [Concerning Fensk Calamity, see the Radical's Handbook]
Ex Cathedra was then desarmed and stranded on the ground of Sinophia herself on the top of Hive Agropolis, where she served as a cathedral and palace for almost a millennium. Though the millenia and this longue period on the ground have weakened her strucural integrity, she is fit for the void and pack a heavy punch.
this ship is fast, both in real & warp space. Thus it is perfect to transport quickly passsengers or perishable goods. It can easily navigate through nebulae and other celestial phenomena, as well as running very silently through the void.This also help in chases or to get somewhere ahead of competitors, evendiscretly.
The ship is luxurious: Perfect for diplomatic & plenipotentiary missions and. It also provides valuable support for conversion operations, or pilgrim transportation, sacred hymns heared everywhere on board. The circulation inside is insured by many lines of steam trains ; there is even a special tour line on the hull. Ex Cathedra has it own small hydroponic farms, as well as a magnificent hanging garden. A passable champagne is even produced on board.
Like other Dauntless, it is well armored, and can travel alone for months without re-supplying.
This is not exactly her forte, but she can be used to smuggle goods or support criminal operations. Ex Cathedra can also support military actions on the ground, even if she is a bit cramped to lodge in perfect conditions military forces.
In space battle, she is fast enough to pummel her targets at close range, or to run away if need be, all the while broadcasting on all channels Hymns of wrath to disturb communications.

That is an impressive wall of text. Sound full of flavor and character I think you have just raise the game on colorful details for all of us, good job. This makes the fleet a powerful Trade Convoy.

That it does, and nothing will scare the enemy more than an Ork leading a boarding action. i'm just surprised that the light crusier doesn't have a lance.

While reading into the storm and all the flavor background choices that cost XP i relized that the 4500 XP could be used to create that background and then finish the selection with the career path. At any rate I think it would be a good idea for flavor sense that even if by the book you can't you should be able to use the 4500 XP for character generation with the into the storm background and the 500 XP to customize your character even more. As always great job in the development of the characters I will be posting Omari Godwin character here in the next day or so. Hope I have made it clear on how you can use your XP for character generation.

Is fan material is not allowed, of course, it can be changed. The pneumatic arteries represent the many railways inside the ship ; and yes, the Lord Captain has her own steam train ; once I can afford an Ostentatious display of wealth, the train stations will be like Moscow subway stations, and her train gold or platinium plated. For the promenade, to represent many open markets areas on board, near the hanging gardens (arboretum).

Concerning Lances, Void_Onion213, I don't like them on a Dauntless, as you have nothing to back it up on the fore firing arc. besides, the ship was used for orbital bombardments, gunboat diplomacy if you wish. I love having large "F### YOU !" broadsides on a ship, it means business.
Too bad I don't have any spare SP for a Power Ram...
