Question about seeding clues and clue 1

By jingully, in Mansions of Madness

Hi,

When I'm seeding clues in Story 1 I've picked story choices 1A,2B and 3B,In the basement landing it says seed Clue 1,so I seed clue 1A-correct?

Also,if my investigators find Clue 1,they find out the objective of the game,so what happens if they find clue 1 first? Do they have to find the other clues or just resolve the objective, thus truncating the game.

I'm about to run my first game(and first game as Keeper)Sorry if the questions are kind of dumb,I'm old.happy.gif

Thanks in advance.

- Yes, you would put your Clue 1 card (Clue 1A) there.

- The way the card setup works, the investigators won't be able to get into the space with the clue 1 card until they have gotten clues 2 & 3 first. Essentially, with clue 3 there is a key to get to clue 2. With clue 2 is a key to get to clue 1. So, the investigators are directed by the initial paragraph to where clue 3 is, and won;t be able to enter the room containing clue 2 until they have gotten the key at clue 3's space, and cannot enter the space where clue 1 is revealed until they have gotten the key from clue 2's space.
