New Type of Card

By arkangl2, in Dust Tactics

I it dawned on me today about my superheroes for this game. What if the JSA all play together shouldn't there be a card or something in a single unit where the heroes can join each other. So I was thinking of making a card where it says who can join the team specifically and I would rather have a card that says who can join than saying it on the hero's card bc some of them have multiple teams. You would still need each hero's card to know what they can take and armor and stuff. Of course I plan on coming out with villian teams too not just hero teams.

so like a hero "squad" ?

because that sounds kinda contrary to the fiction , and potentialy overwhelming to your opponents . the heros already have a faction alignment between one of the 4 we know of . puting them in squads would seem contrary to the fiction since it would confine the heros to a single square . simply including them in your force still implies they are on the same team , but lets them act like they do in the books , movies , and tv shows where they are all taking part in the same battle , but not in the same 10 square feet of it .

and if that is what you are talking about , it could be abused to a massive extent by allowing you to move the heros as a unit , in the early stages of the game , through more confined terrain to avoid the stacking limits , and then releasing a unit of heros with all sorts of abilities in one clump which could over whelm an opponent who would have a much harder fight fending off that much massed fire power and special abilities that would all be usable for attack and defence from a single square .

the current stacking limits allow your opponent more breathing room because it evens out the enemies you would face .

the current stacking limits would also create a further handicap for your opponent in that his tanks and heros cant stack the same , so he can be put in a position , expecially in close confined boards that limit the number of attacks he can make against your unit each turn while your heor unit is free to use all its attacks each time .

on top of that , you would have to create a NEW rule that would keep their special abilities from effecting the rest of the super hero unit , other wise it would be even worse .

massing them like that would seem to seriously unbalance the game .
