High Elves and indirect damage

By Chookie2, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Here's the situation: I'm playing with two people. I have a Seaguard Captain with the Moon Staff of Lileath in the Battlefield zone, as well as the Outpost of Tiranoc, let's say in the Kingdom zone. Tell me if I'm wrong here:

When I attack with the said Seaguard Captain, first I deal 2 indirect damage to the attacked opponent (1 for the captain's skill +1 for the outpost of Tiranoc), then I deal 3 indirect damage to the attacked player and the other opponent (2 for the staff +1 for the Outpost) and then I assign and possibly deal one damage to the attacked zone with Captain's power=1?

Looks about right.

Your sentence wasn't super clear about this, but the indirect from both will be combined to a total of 5 (or whatever) and applied at once as they both trigger 'when this unit attacks/declared attacker" I think?

Wouldn't the outpost activate just once, since both actions happen simultaneously, thus making it 4 indirect damage total?

This is not true. They are 2 separate sources of indirect damage, and are applied separately. This is also why the Outpost adds 1 to each effect. You are right they both trigger at the same time, but since they are from different sources they resolve separately.

It goes something like:

Attackers are declared

Both effects trigger simultaneously. They are Triggered Actions, so they wait for the next action window.

Action window opens

Each action is put on the chain in an order of their controller's choosing.

If no more actions are played, the chain resolves, dealing 3 indirect damage, then dealing 2 indirect damage.
