I just talked with the local game shop owner and he told me that the game will come to us until the end of the month so i think in Canada you will have a closer release date.

Greece economy was never that good overall, but it's true when he says that Europe is in a real bad shape right now... Including (my country) Portugal and I even think Spain is worse than us =x Oh... btw... have I said that right now Portugal has NO president? lol... he just quit his job xD really... wtf is going on in this world... anyway... there will be new elections...
At least there is no war and we are a peaceful country... I'm glad for it

It usually takes a couple extra days for it to arrive to us up here. My store in Halifax usually has it 3-4 days after its official release date as it takes a bit longer for stuff to cross the border. Some stores in Canada do get it out on the shelves the day of. Course not even all stores in the US will have it on the shelves that day again depending on when their orders arrive, get shipped, how far etc. etc.
My FLGS now says ca 30 April where it previously said ca April.

Hey, watch the banker talk! I am a banker running a small rural bank (5th generation, 120+ years in the family...which is a lot in the US, probably not in Greece). We don't make that much, and just want our community to succeed...and we probably are one of the top 3-4 contributors to non-profits in our small town. Now, investment bankers...you probably have something there!
Anyways, I pre-ordered through FFG directly, so hopefully will see it VERY soon.

hey servant I was thinking the same thing! starting from april 18 these forums will explode with rules questions, strategy tips, awesome combos and everything....which is nice - if you can be part of it! But I think I'll stay away until I can also participate in the fun ;-) I'm really looking forward to discover this game on my own
Looking forward to this one cant wait to have another LCG love the idea of them and now one that is co-op and solo play this will probably replace the last of my video games (frown to that) but cant wait the whole week to get my hands on it

I think especially in this game. Imagine:
Guy 1: "Hey guys, I developed this killer deck that ALWAYS beats the scenario in Conflict at the Carrock."
Guy 2:(Who hasn't played the scenario yet, but netdecks it) "Well, he was right. I beat it three times in a row. Now I need to buy a new game."

Mate you found a faster way to preorder the game in Japan or you must wait until June?It is very hard to know that all the others have the game and you must wait 2 more months to play it

Esdevium Games - European distributor of FFG games has just made the list of released titles for the next week that they will be sending to stores. And LOTR LCG ist there, so there's hope that I will have it before Easter. I will keep my fingers crossed for that, I wish to spend Easter with this game in my hands.

I pre-ordered from Cardhaus here in the US. I was a bit tenuous, because I was checking if other people had ever had any issues with them.. and I found some back from a good few years back, but nothing recent.
However that prompted me to be a bit cheeky with them. I told them they could earn my trust by shipping that box on the 18th!

When I've pre-ordered games from FRPGames, they've shipped me orders in advance so that the item arrives on the actual release date. Amazon has done the same thing. I don't know if this common practice or if I just lucked out but it's awesome when this happens.

I bought it yesterday in Munich, but didn't have the time to dig into it yet. I'm a little disappointed about the cards, had expected them to be a little thicker, like in Arkham Horror for example, but that should be no problem if the game is even half as good as I imagine

Whenever you do dig into your copy, will you please tell me how many Player Cards come with only one copy in a core set? I'd like to know, for the sake of science.
