I started to get back into ToI and I noticed that in the very first scenario in the base game that the Germans start with 3 strategy cards and it says 6 for the Americans. I think this may be a typo since this is the very first scenario FFG would have it be more balanced. There is nothing in the last erratta about it. But I'm wondering if its wrong.

Tide of iron is in my opinion a great miniature game. But, sadly it is infamous for the horrible unbalanced opening scenarios. There have been many people which have been very irritated at the very first scenario. I would not recommend it at all. Try "silence the guns" instead. It is a nice, fun balalanced scenario.
