taking control of Beric Dondarrion

By xqg5009, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

We now have another confusing question. My friend played Beric Dondarrion (can't be killed or discarded if now pwr on your house card). Then his opponent take control of Beric (he has pwr on his power card). My question is , in this occasion, can he kill Beric now while he is contolling him.

2nd question: if my title is supporting another one, can i defend for him(if he doesn't declare defending characters) without declaring any defending character, cuz i wanna use some event card in this manner as a defender

As for killing Beric: If the other player has power on his or her house card, sure, Beric can die for claim or any kill effect that might affect him.

As for supporting anther player, the rules say "if the defending player declares no defenders, you may declare any number of your own eligible characters as defenders to that challenge." So declaring at least one defender is a prerequisite for you to be defending in that challenge.
