Warhammer 40kRP Armory

By unnownrelic, in Rogue Trader

Greetings, denizens of Fantasy Flight Games' forums! Have you ever wanted a handy place to look at equipment? A quick reference for that particular special weapon ability does? A side-by-side comparison of the various hulls of Rogue Trader? One place where you can look at the equipment for a Space Marine and an Acolyte without having to crack open two different books? Look no further than this handy quick reference guide! All included in an easy to use Excel sheet, this covers all four of FFG's 40kRP games: Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, and now Black Crusade. It includes nearly every piece of player gear, their upgrades, their qualities, most vehicles, all the starships, and more! I've been posting this to another forum for quite some time now, and didn't even realize that FFG had their own forums, so I come now to you good sirs and ladies and present it, free for use for all!

There are two versions, different only in file extension, and both can be found below.

If for some reason clicking on the link doesn't work, feel free to just copy and paste it into your URL bar.

If, for some reason, this violates any copyrights, laws, or otherwise, I am more than willing to remove all traces of this from my files should Fantasy Flight Games request it, as well as delete this thread. No harm is intended. Also, I've posted this thread in the other three forums, as it pertains to their systems as well. Good luck, and happy dice rolling!

A question do the links work? I klicked on both of them and they send me to the front page of mediafire not to where the documents are. Should I register to access the files?

I was afraid of that. No, there's no need to register. Just copy and paste them into your URL bar. I'm not actually sure how to make links work right here, since when I put one in normally, it defaults to mediafire's homepage, which is rather not where I meant for them to lead. I'll check a forum guide about it and fix them soon.

Edit: Links should be working now, at least in this particular post. I will be fixing the others within a few minutes.

It's a very useful resource. Makes looking up items for Acquisitions easier and has the rarity and all, making it easier to determine mods. Just to note, that if something appears in DH Core and RT, it'll be under Core Specific, since DH did come first.

You sir, are my personal hero! gran_risa.gif

At last no more furious browsing trough the rulebooks in search of one small item!

Thank you, thank you, thank you... dont know how to show my gratitude aplauso.gif

Think nothing of it! Just doing a small service for the community at large. Feel free to spread it around if you'd like, the more the merrier.

This is insanely usefull. I am in your debt!

Well that's going to save a silly amount of flicking back and forth. Many thanks!

This is amazingly useful. Thanks.

I was looking to add a list of weapons into my Excel Character Sheet and this is perfect. Great work.

Do you mind if I import some of it? I'm happy to credit you with all the hard graft.

Excel lent work!

I'll probably steal the starships part (slightly modified) for a starship build collection document I've been thinking about.

Is there a simple way to create those +/- buttons on the left?

Memetrix, feel free! Just slap my name on there and do whatever you'd like with it.

Iku Rex, in Office 2008, under the Data tab, there's a group/ungroup button. It takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but it's awfully handy. Out of curiosity, what would you be adding that isn't already in there? Or is it for actually building them completely within the excel sheet?

Thanks - will do.

Deleted - formatting snafu.

Ah, thanks. (I'm using OpenOffice Calc, but it works the same way.)

I'm planning on modifying your formatting to make it easier to copy-paste and read the most important info during ship building. Minor things like moving columns around or removing those asterisks that prevents the spreadsheet from counting plasma engine output. Maybe shorten your "Notes" to make the final result sort-of printable. I may also add a few things like ship background packages and the warrant and ship origin path PF/SP values.

(The idea is to put up a spreadsheet in Google Docs with the basic data from your collection, a ship building template, and a few of my own ship designs. I'll make it freely editable, so that people can add more ships or improve on the document, wiki-style.)

Gotcha! Feel free then, and good luck!

Hello again! I've recently updated the armory. Though it doesn't especially pertain to Rogue Trader, the newest Deathwatch errata was released a few days ago, and I finally got time to fix up a few things. So, here it is!

The .xls version for users of Office 97-2003

http://www.mediafire.com/?c2m54iwxjcsmqih

And the .xlsx for users with 2007 or newer

http://www.mediafire.com/?7t710bq1q8csaci

I'll update the first post as well with these new links. Enjoy!

Also, on a slightly related note, if there's anyone with database experience who'd like to help turn this into a functioning and easy-to-use database that can be sorted on the fly and all that, PM me. Thanks!

Doesn't the new weapons values from the deathwatch errata are not mandatory. So if we like we could keep the old values?

That is correct, the new weapon profiles at the back of the Deathwatch Errata are 100% optional. In fact, I've not even included them in this version. If there's enough demand or interest I'll consider making a new sheet for them. This version only has actual errata'd values, such as melta weapons doubling their pen at short range instead of doing 1d10 extra damage, and Astartes Thunderhammers increasing your Unnatural Strength multiplier by 1, a la power fists.

Thank you for compiling this. It is most useful.

The optional DW stats from the new errata would be nice to have... but I understand that might be a pain in the assets to include.

Cheers,

- V.

Alright gents, we're updated! Added page numbers to every single entry in this thing. And, since I had to go over everything anyway, I made quite a few formatting fixed and improvements, as well as some typos fixes. Links below, and I'll update the first post as usual. Enjoy!

awesome, thank you :)

Hello everyone! I'm back, and in a couple days I'll be updating the armory with the new equipment from Daemon Hunters , both regular acolyte gear and Grey Knight equipment! Furthermore, I've changed how updates are numbered. The first grouping is the series, i.e. Dark Heresy Core , the second is the included source books, such as Inquisitors Handbook and Rites of Battle . The third is the date of the release in MMDD format, which should account for updates to errata, as well as minor updates and corrections. That said, the next version will be 3.11.07xx, depending on when I finally get it done. Thanks for praise, and happy gaming!

As it is, I actually managed to finish up far earlier than I imagined. It's all done! I present the latest update of the armory, including Grey Knight and Malleus gear from Daemon Hunter. I have Black Crusade on pre-order, but from what I've read it MIGHT be too different to be totally compatible, but we'll see. If I'm able, I'll integrate it into the armory a few days after I get it. Happy gaming!

As usual, the version for Office 2003 and earlier, and the one for newer versions . As of this posting, we're at 3.11.0722.
