Decided it's time to return to the game I loved some much in the CCG form, but since then I've moved and have yet to find anyone who plays. Anybody on the forums know of group that plays in the Los Angeles area?

We have about 6 players down here in San Diego.

Mathlete, one of the nicest guys ever to play the game, just started back up as well. He's up in LA, so keep an eye out in case he tries to get a group back together.

Other than that, the have been a few posts from people in LA looking for people to play with, mostly in the SoCal meta forum. It's been a while though.

Thanks. I had seen around that the San Diego meta was pretty strong -- was hoping for something local so I could play/set-up something weekly. Where abouts can I find the SoCal meta forum?

Hi I'd love to learn this game. I've read some of the rules and watched tutorials.I see it at the game stores; I don't see any players.

The PM message system here is horrible so I'll give my email as well. I think Mathlete is trying to organize a good day of the week and game store location. I am not going to be in LA more than a few months at the most but I am close to Pasadena and would be willing to drive to whatever location is best for all if time permits.

I spoke with Mathlete yesterday -- we actually live ridiculously close to each -- we were thinking of trying to get together to play, etc. some time next week. How would that work with you guys?

Game Empire in Pasadena is a good place to play

The fledgling LA play group is going to meet for the first time -- Monday, April 18th at Game Empire in Pasadena between 5-6pm -- for some AGOT madness. Anyone interested in playing some games (starting to play for the first time) are welcome. So if you are just trolling the boards please come and join us if you can.

There will actually be a second round of games on Wednesday, April 20th if you can't make Monday.

The first meeting of the "new" LA play group went amazingly. We had John (mathlete) and Jim (laughingtree) there and then roped in three new unsuspecting, I mean, willing players who look to be joining the group again later in the week for further group play.

New AGoT players looking for leagues or tourneys in LA and Orange County!

My 2 cousins and I are obsessed with the game and we want to find others to play against.

Since we are new we are constantly bickering over the rules so it would be nice to find experienced players to set us straight.

We live in La Mirada so its not difficult for us to drive up in the LA area or down in Orange County.
