Storm Wardens and Dark Eldar Kabal?

By maerdymachus, in Deathwatch

So, I've been painting Storm Wardens as my 40k army, and now I've decided I ought to have some baddies for them to fight against. I like the new Dark Eldar models a lot, so I bought some and an army book. But the Dark Eldar don't seem to feature prominently in much of the Storm Warden lore out there.

This doesn't really matter, and I know very well that I'm free to make up my own kabal, but I'd like to know if anyone has any idea if a particular Dark Eldar kabal is at large in the Calixis Sector or has ever harassed the Storm Wardens.

Very old chapter so yeah and many of them most probably...

There are usually a few ships of the Dark Eldar using the evacuations of planets before Tyranids or ork invasion... they pretend to be a real imperial ship get a few loads of refugee then slip away to sell those at Kormorrag (whatever the name the place as...).

SM souls are very very important so they may try to raid an outpost to get a few SM slave etc.

At least one Dark Eldar Kabal is active in the Calixis Sector, the Kabal of Crimson Woes. It appears in the second adventure in Purge the Unclean for Dark Heresy.

Nice! Thanks for the info and thoughts!

Well I finally got , my copy of Battlefleet Koronus and it appears that Dark have been active in the Calixis Sector for quite some time. The Cabal of White Sorrow conducted series of devastating raids in the Periphery sub-sector between 556-570.M40 until a combined Battlefleet Calixis and Rogue Trader task force commanded by Kobras Aquairre hunted the Dark Eldar down and destroyed their fleet in wilderness space (Battlefleet Koronus p.55-56).
