I dont know if I am the only board gamer that seems to be driven by the seasons. During the winter months I seem to play less and less but when spring comes I tend to want to invite a group around and I get fanatical again.
In view of this I decided to check FFG´s page for upcoming stuff. Only recently I got myself Mansions of Madness and I have had two games of it (players seems to enjoy it but having played as keeper I am a bit on the fence still, will need to check more scenarios out). I figured this would hit the table the most during the summer before I found out about what else is happening.
This spring Arkham is due for a huge expansion and I am already giddy about seeing how it affects the expansions to date (still being guilty of not having tried out Innsmouth or luker yet despite owning them). I keep playing the basic board to introduce new players, but I decided to set time aside to dig into some solo play (or drafting the wife again). Plan was to get starting again with a regular group and work through the expansions once the meta expansion comes out.
FFG is busy though!
Chaos in the old World is getting an expansion, bumping it into a 5 player game (my planned group size for AH and MoM) and if that turns out to be a good one then I am very excited about playing it as much as I can (loved the basic game but only had like 3 plays so far).
Then to make picking what to play even harder then Twilight (to my suprise) is also getting an expansion (last one was fantastic). Wife hates it, but it is very tempting to get some 5 player action going with that one.
Thankfully I dont know of any other tempting expansions (or god forbid new games), its already looking like there wont be enough days in the week. ![]()
