Question, has anyone used 3ed in another setting besides Warhammer just wondering? I just start a new game with my older group using the WHFRP 3ed system minus magic, corpution, only humans, sandbox play with a heavy Song of Ice and Fire infulence. just hope Omens of War comes out soon so I get

I ran a short campaign in a setting of my own devising instead of the warhammer setting awhile back. There really isnt anything that should deter you from doing so, as long as your players can ignore some of the warhammer setting stuff that's mentioned on some of the components.

We ran a Robin Hood type campaign which occurred in medieval Europe, crusades era.

Essentially, we just didn't include most of the creatures from the setting, except for the occasional "monster of the week", such as a Troll in the sewers or a vampire or something.

Worked well enough- creating human only antagonists required some decent writing and clever GM-ing to keep things interesting. Which worked fine.

Also, we used the gods of the Empire but simply stated that they were Saintly Orders instead of separate Gods. Wizards were a bit tricky, but we have a Merlin-esque Hedge Wizard.
