I've now replaced the ammo crate cover with make-shift defences using the natural terrain of tree and rock and a few sand bags. This terrain allows your squad to have all round cover instead of hiding behined a single crate

those look incredible. only thing im curious about and the only reason i havent made terrain like this, where do you measure LOS to?

Just go to the middle of the tile as normal. I could mark it, but don't find it really neccessary.
