Flamethrower and Napalm Thrower confusion?

By Martellus2, in Dust Tactics

After a few sessions I have no good experience with the Flamethrower and the Napalm Thrower. I assume it is because I have intepreted the rules incorrectly.

The way I have understood is that you have 2/6 chance of damaging for example a squad with 1 damage...

So how should I interpret for the:

- Napalm Thrower 1/cross and 1/skull?

- Flamethrower 1/cross?

Could it be that I roll one dice for each individual attacked by the flamethrower/napalm thrower?

Thankful for clarifications!

Both these weapons roll one die for each model in the target area.

A cross removes 1 wound as normal, a skull removes all wounds from the model, best avoid Hotdog with your heroes and walkers.

Ok, thanks! It makes sense, but where does it say so in the rules....?

Cheers,

its towards the back under special ammo types i believe.

page 20, "special damage types"

Correct '1 die per miniature targeted'.
