If you overturn an event card and the relevant clue has not been revealed, then does nothing happen other than the infliction of horror? That is my reading of this and just wanted to make sure. Haven't even played a real game yet. Just running through one now with me vs me vs me. Just trying to get the mechanincs down pat before I inflict this game upon my friends. Kinda of a space intensive on my table but not as bad as I thought it would be. So far I am very intriuged by the game mechanics and cannot wait to get a full blown session underway!
sorry, but here is another noob question.
Just follow the directions on the card. They are not all the same or even close.
Enjoy the game!
well I was running 1A as my scenario and all the card says is that if the investigators have revealed clue 3 then do this. That I get, but it also says that if they haven't then they take one horror and nothing else on the matter so I assume they just take the one horror and that is it. Also another interesting question is that if a person has to make a luck check, can he use a skill point to double it. I say yes.

No, the rules specifically state you are not allowed to add Luck to a Luck check using a skill point; forget the page number, but pretty certain it's in there.
And yes, the first scenario tends to "balance" the speed of play with the event cards, making things a bit more tricky if the investigators seem to be storming quickly ahead.
