Multiple copies and taking damage

By Lazy Lantern, in UFS Rules Q & A

used search engine and didn't see any answers to that, so sry if alrdy posted, just link me previous ruling

::R.Mika::
E: If your opponent has 4 or more cards in their hand, before you take damage from this attack, you may attempt to play a Reversal from your hand and resolve it. Playable while committed.

Now lets say the reversal I use is Feline Spike (multiple 2)
Will I resolve the multiple copies before taking damage?

nope.

next question in the same line

once I take the damage, do I resolve the multiple copies and THEN play a reversal (block or effect that allows playing a reversal without blocking) or Play and Reslove the reversal THEN resolve the multiple copies?

You play and resolve your Reversal first, as ::R.Mika::'s effect is used on the first copy of the attack. This is the same for blocking and then playing a reversal. If the Reversal you play has Multiple, your Reversal's multiple copies would resolve first, as a "last in first out" rule. After resolving your reversal and it's multiples, you would proceed to resolving the multiple copies of your opponent's attack.

i got confused...

say player A is NOT R.Mike, and attacks player B with feline spike, E's with multiple. Player B responds with R.Mika, and plays Criminal uppercut before taking damage, and Es with multiple. Following LIFO i would think that Crim uppercut, its multiples, then F.spike and its multiples would resolve.

But reading the response it seems like crim uppercut would resolve, then the multiple copies of spike. Just want to make sure i am clear...

Hanzo vs. R Mika.

Hanzo plays Feline Spike, Multiples twice.

R Mika cannot play Criminal Uppercut via her ability because it's not a reversal.

So lets restart this:

Hanzo is attacking R. Mika, uses Criminal Uppercut. He Multiples Twice.

R Mika Eats the first Uppercut, then resolves her E, playing Feline Spike, and its multiples.

Hanzo would have to deal with the Spike AND it's multiples before returning to the Criminal Uppercut's Multiples.

OK this is what i thought. Thank you

If R. Mika completely blocks an attack, she can't play a Reversal via her ability?

Correct.

So if you partial block, you will be able to play one Reversal with ::R.Mika's:: ability, and one as a regular Reversal.

Unless she completely blocks a throw, and thus still takes damage.
