Dabbler has Gates of the Citadel scans up! Now to call my Friendly Local Gaming Store to see if it has come in yet.
Next Chapter Pack - When?
Yes, this morning I updated them on agotcards cause in europe we have the cp already.
Anyway there are lots of good cards (maybe only lanni doesn't have something particulary great). The cycle has started greatly ;-)
CardGameDB and Rogue30's site have the spoilers up too.
Cool. Any sightings of Queen of Dragons yet?

Maybe I'm nuts, but I think Daven Lannister could be amazing. You'd have to build around him, but he could jump you from 8 power to 16, and infamy has the added bonus of protection from power challenges... I can't wait to try him.

The rumors are at the end of the month.
Daven is pretty awesome. I've always wanted to build a Lannister deck that basically lets me just buy the win. Spend my gold and win the game. I have no idea if it is possible, with Daven, but it will be a lot of fun to try and create a deck that will make it happen. It looks like I am a Shagga.

I think condition on winning dominance by 4 or more limite him a lot... but of course this is noly my thought... a non-lannister player thought ;-)

Pretty gimmicky, I realize....

You'd have to have a lot of gold, but you could play him OOH in Stark with the plot that claims 3 power if you win dominance + Den of Wolves. That would be game right there wouldn't it?...4 power for each dominance + 8 gold to double that?
Pretty gimmicky, I realize....
Or use Alliance. Thanks Dan... hes going in my baratheon deck... wahahahaha.
Of course Mel just owns this guy.
Yep, and Nightmares and Milk, and any other dozen things on Mel... and Daven. *shrug* That is after all the game.
Daven will definitely be going in my non-agenda infamy based Brotherhood deck.

save 4 gold to use for him....thats probably the win domience by 4 str right there....and its not like lanni needs to work hard to save 4 gold
Re: Daven Lannister
I feel he needs so much setting up, he won't be that much of a threat. I think it's much more likely you'll be able to snag 2 or maybe 3 power with his ability, which might still win you a game. But setting him up to get 8 power just doesn't seem that feasible to me. Not saying it won't be fun to try, though
my initial thoughts on a couple of cards after skimming dabbler....
Deep Den looks useful for a Lanni/Kingsguard deck - it no longer limits plot choices with high initiative to force your opp to go first. I really would like to see more Kingsguards chars - I just want to see that agenda work!
Love Support of Saltcliffe - can't wait to add this to my raider deck.

~Of course, I reserve the right to complain later if he proves crazier than I thought he'd be
Does Devan really need that much setting up to be good? Perhaps he ought to be thought of more as an opportunistic power-grabber rather than a one-shot game-winning combo piece?
If you just win Dominance by four without setup, he lets you double your winnings simply by paying one gold (as I understand it: win dominance by 4 -> Infamy power onto Dev -> pay 1 to net an additional power).
Alternatively if you combo him with a 'more power for dominance' card like Minstrel's Muse or DoTN Melisandre, then you get to dump spare gold into potentially game-ending winnings (net four power for a win with Mel, net eight with MMuse). Two cards (all of which are decent/great on their own and don't need the combo to justify their inclusion) + spare gold = plain ******* cool.
All of the above is assuming that you don't dump any infamy power on Devan before activating him, which I think makes him pretty darn impressive (given the shortage of other power-grab effects in Lannister).
Also, other cards that I'm surprised people aren't raving about more:
Lucky Bones : 1 gold for card draw in Baratheon? The only hoop I have to jump through is winning a power challenge, which was precisely what I was already planning to do? Yeah, that'll do nicely, thanks.
... and then you run it with Heir to the Iron Throne and realise that lots of your guys have Vigilance. Absolutely hilariously good.
Copper Link: It's Old Nan on a stick. It costs 1 gold, gets (essentially) tutored for by Maester's Path so you never have to be without it, and you get to kneel the character carrying it for other stuff. All of the usual Raven, Dragon, Bolton, etc tricks just got even funner (and more annoying). Further, Shagga though it may be, combining this with the Dragon trait love coming out of the upcoming Targaryen box looks ridonkulous.

Copper Link, as with all the Chains we've been spoiled (except for the Apprentice Collar) must be put on a Maester. While this shouldn't be too terribly difficult with At the Gates and Apprentice Collar, it isn't a given that you will have a valid target to put it on. If all the chains have the same restriction, they will have to be viewed with a small grain of salt due to their playability limits.

Unlikely you'll play Daven with Minstrel's Muse, seeing as it is Stark only, unless you play Daven out-of-House, which makes him rather expensive and Stark is not that big on gold anyhow, so it's probably not worth it.
And why the complicated dominance power thing with a power-free Daven? It's easier to just place power on him during the course of the game until you think triggering his power is worth it *and* affordable. This, of course, all the while your opponent is working to prevent you from either winning dominance, having the gold, or blanking/getting rid of Daven. So I don't think it's easy to pull of a big swing.
And I was making a similar point as you did, that he is more likely to snag 2 or 3 power with his ability. The question is, how long do you hold off on using his ability to gather more power on him, since you can only use it once per game.

It honestly depends on how many Maesters we get in the cycle and whether or not they are good. Some Houses already have pretty good ones. Recursion will also have an impact, which there are signs of with cards like The Citadel of Oldtown. The small grain of salt will probably become smaller as the cycle grows.
