I am a solo player and run 3 characters , here are few things I am confused about

1. If an elder sign is played and doom token removed..do you ALSO remove monsters with relative symbol as when gates are closed with clues?

2. If Character lands on a gate that has 2 clues and a monster. is this the proper sequence?

a. remove clues

b.evade or fight monster

c.go thru gate

1.) Whenever a gate is closed, the creatures disappear if their symbols match, regardless of if it's sealed with clues, an elder sign, or just closed without sealing.

2.) Clues cannot be in the same space as a gate. When one appears, all clues disappear. They cannot be placed on a location with a gate if a Mythos card says to. BUT! TO answer: Face/evade monsters first. Then end your move (all during phase 2), and then during phase 3 go to the OW indicated on the gate!
