I cannot find any plain "Melee weapons", everything is "Sharp" or "Blunt", yet in the combat deck there are just "Melee Weapon" Cards. Does that mean they apply to both "Sharp" and "Blunt", or are we waiting for an expansion with just"Melee Weapon" cards?

If you attack with a Sharp Melee Weapon, you resolve the combat when either Sharp Melee WeaponMelee Weapon card is drawn from the combat deck.

This is stated in the rules on page 23 under "Combat Keywords". Look for "Melee Weapon".
