I think he means because Mathlete wasn't there it was not a true title whereas this year if Chaos defeats Mathlete and Dobbler it would be a true title.
~Not like Rings being there makes a difference except in melee where we can plot against him and his meta of 1 (errr 2) ;P
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in! (They = John Kraus, Nate French, Gregory Sean Atkinson & Matthew Ley). Kingdom Con = 100% attending. Kublacon = 95% and Gencon = 50%. I miss the game and these good friends!

There is a Draft I am running starting Friday evening at 5pm, from there the Joust is from 10am Saturday until the late afternoon, then there is going to be another limited card pool event Saturday night, then there is the melee on Sunday, which should put the end of all events late Sunday afternoon/evening.

There is a Draft I am running starting Friday evening at 5pm, from there the Joust is from 10am Saturday until the late afternoon, then there is going to be another limited card pool event Saturday night, then there is the melee on Sunday, which should put the end of all events late Sunday afternoon/evening.
WOW. There is another addition as well. Sunday night starting at 5pm there is also a 2v2 Tournament being run by John D. He is in charge of all card games for Kublacon this year.

What time does the Melee start and end on Sunday? And is it part of the overall championships? My flights back to Missouri are limited. I was hoping we would be done with all the events by midday on Sunday, but if not, I need to weigh my options.
Looks like the melee starts at 10am on Sunday and will not be part of the Regional Championship.
FYI, Darksbane has a Calendar on the CardGameDB.com site that I think all metas should post regionals info about ( http://www.cardgamedb.com/forums/index.php?/calendar/ ). I know FFG already posted the list, but this is a place where you can post more information to broaden exposure and elaborate on the details, etc.

Iowa falls on one of my weekends with the kids, otherwise I would have definitely gone.
