N-type + Sword t/Protects VS Absurd Strength

By 1sanik, in UFS Rules Q & A

If my opponent uses the ability on N-type Human to force us both to add a card from hand to momentum, then decides to use The Sword that Protects, to choose what card I add.. what happens if I have an Absurd Strength in hand? Am I able to use this as he adds his card to momentum, or can he use TSTP to place this in my momentum in place of whatever else, stopping me from being able to use it? Just wondering what order things went in..

Read carrefully both cards.

Absurd say : after your opponent add a card to his momentum.

The Sword that Protect say : before your opponent add a card to their momentum.

so yes, it triggers before you add it, versus absurd which trigger after you add it.

Even if they would trigger at the exact same time, because it is his turn, he would get the first chance to play a react, then you. Both way, he can use it before you use Absurd.
