This might have already been answered in the forums but I just wanted clarification. When knife fighting in close combat do units in cover make their normal cover rolls like they were being shot it? Or is it bonus enough that they get to counter attack. And when attacking through corner cover would both units make their cover rolls in close combat just like getting shot at? Also, if they do make cover rolls, would "knife & grenade" ignore cover? Or are "knife & grenades" just better than "knife" because they have better stats? Hope someone can help me with this, I might just be looking to deep into this because this rule book is very easy to understand. Thanks!

Pretty much the answer to all your questions is NO, because knife and knife/grenade attacks cover does not apply. Page 22 of the rule book, left side important information, first paragraph, last sentence. "The sustained attack option also applies to these weapons, but cover does not."
Have Fun!
i originaly had wondered why the difference in listings ,would presume that the KNIFE is for regular CC ,the KIFE ANDGRENADE is to allow squads to perform CC against adjacent squads occupying buildingsthe like that would stop a normal CC fight . if that is so then we will see in the next expansion when building rules come out .
