Okay, I'm going to use an Ordo Xenos radical inquisitor in my Deathwatch campaign and need some ideas... The basic concept is that the Inquisitor in question is not particularly religious and views most bans on xeno/daemon/heretic technology as pure bull. She cares only about results, not about how the results are delivered so she is more than willing to use any and all tools available. I'm not talking about fanatic Xanthite or Oblationist, actually not a fanatic at all... more like ultimate pragmatic who has lost all faith on anything and everything. So far I've figured out a few ways of how this shows:
- Her ship has xenotech parts... lots of them, in fact
- Her Stormtroopers are telepathically mind-controlled
- One of her retinue is actually a condemned tekheretic with a death sentence "suspended untill further notice"
- She uses xenotech combat drugs, like Dark Eldar issue hyperadrenaline, to boost her retinue
- She uses captured and bought xenotech weapons (jokaero digital weapons, eldar witchblade...)
- She maintains a collection of Dark Eldar soul traps that are used to trap the souls of various xenos for further investigation and use
Now the question is: What else could she do? I want more ideas on how to abuse the "God Emperors Permission to Do Anything You Like"... Also, do you feel the examples gives so far are radical enough or too radical for what I described. Now, one thing to take into account is the fact that she needs to work together with Deathwatch, so craziest stuff is something that she must keep under tight wraps...
), whereas an Eldar Witchblade is a little more radical maybe, but one has to keep in mind that even the Officio Assassinorum uses xeno-weapons. Dark Eldar soul traps is the only thing which I think is only really used by a radical and could cause an Inquisitor to become an outcast within his/her order. Still, it is absolutely not “too radical” for a radical Inquisitor in my view.
