I have been slowly collecting the Arkham Horror expansions (I currently have Innsmouth Horror, Curse of the Black Pharoh, The King in Yellow & Lurker at the Threshold), but have noticed that the FFG store is out of stock and has been for quite a while. I have also checked many online retailers and have been finding the same thing. I am currently trying to obtain Dunwich Horror, but I am having little luck finding an affordable copy (I have been finding it for $100 and up!). I guess I am just wondering if FFG is going to stock more of these expansion or are they permanently OOP? If anyone knows, please reply. Thanks.
Have the Arkham Horror expansions been retired?

No. They're reprinting. Probably all of them. Dunwich at least for sure. Anyone know more details?
Cool. I don't mind paying full retail for a game or expansion, but I hesitate on buying games on Amazon, eBay or other online retailersauction sites when they are going for well over retail. Thanks for the reply. Anymore details from anyone would still be appreciated.
According to the current release schedule Lurker and Black Goat are "on the boat" and Dunwitch and Dark Pharaoh are "In development" (whatever the hell that means for a reprint)

Probably simply that they still don't know when they'll send it to the printer
My guess is that they'll all be reprinted in support of Miskatonic Horror.

I'd guess that too.
I too will be glad when the reprint finally show up as I despair at how greedy and unscrupulous some people become when something goes out of print, especially board games from FFG which are usually only out of print for a short period..
I think it speaks more to the dinks that buy them
Because people will. And do...

So true I would never buy a game that isn't obsolete for silly money, but its frustrating that I cannot get my hands on Dunwich horror and i've been waiting for months ![]()

Well then you're getting the full Dunwich experience! Waaaay back when Dunwich was first announced, it took them somewhere from six to eight months after their estimated release date to get it to us. And since it was the first major expansion for Arkham, we were all SUFFERING for so long.
Consider this your hazing period.

I just got this game for Christmas and bought Dunwich soon after... now my copy is junk?
I hope print on demand will be used for this. This is dirty pool otherwise.
No they have only announced a revised Dark Pharaoh not Dunwitch. Currently there is no reason to believe that they are going to revise Dunwitch.
Maybe they'll just re-release it with the new Dunwitch Horror herald?

Miskatonic Horror has the Dunwich herald.

Your copy isn't junk. You can still use it perfectly fine, why do you think its junk?

Who's to say we don't get a revised edition of Dunwich with lots of changes just like the DP announcement, certainly possible. I am now holding off buying a copy of Dunwich (I have been due to inflated prices and not finding any at face value) until the reprint..

Miskatonic Horror has the Dunwich herald.
The released information seems to indicate that the Miskatonic Dunwich herald is a new one, not the one we all know already.

True, but I think it can also be seen as an indicator that they probably aren't revising Dunwitch on the reprint. When the Miskatonic announcement was made we scratched our heads as to why the DH was going to be included and not the DP. Now we know.
I still don't think we do know. There was nothing wrong with the old DH herald. It worked great, and there wasn't anything functionally stupid about it.
Maybe the new DH herald introduces a mechanic to combat dilution? Maybe it says something like, "each time a rift opens or a deep one rising token is added, put a token on the DH track?" You know, something specific to multiple boards? It would be the first of its kind.
I was referring to it being an indicator that the Dunwitch Expansion probably won't be revised on it's reprint. The herald probably will and I hope it's something to glue it to the other boards like you suggest.

Dear God... That would be insane. He'd come out every game. Three blocked surges?
