Worst and Best character load out?

By Melonball, in Battlestar Galactica

OK,

If you wanted to make the game as hard as possible for the humans (and still wanted to maintain role balance) what would you say is the worst load out for a 6 player game? I was thinking

Old Man - No brig is rough, and his passive won't come up too often

Saul Tigh - He's awesome, but you need him there because we're adding

Starbuck - fun fun brig times

Zarek - one of my favorite characters, but in 6 player games the cylons can shut him down from becoming the president he was destined to be

Cancer Victim - Now Zarek doesn't start as president and since she will probably be executive ordering like a fiend she can keep zarek from the ballot boxes

Chief - 8 cards. only 1 pilot. and while his passive power is solid, he can only use it when things have gone wrong.

now conversely: If you wanted to make the game hu-man friendly in a 6 player game what would you pick as the optimum human load out? I think I would go with

Lee - great skill diversity

Boomer - great skills, great powers

Baltar - great skills, great powers, isn't dying of cancer

Helo - great powers, naughty disadvantage but if he's not the admiral its not as horrible

Saul - control group for Baltar

Zarek - hes not dying of cancer and if president baltar or saul go brig happy he can help get them out of jail.

Hmm, even if that is the worst crew possible, still seems like the humans have it really good. Roslyn is a beast being able to choose between two crisis, and saul tigh is the man and can instill martial law or easily brig someone if things start going bad. Chief pretty much assures the cylons won't win by damaging Galactica, Starbuck can absolutely wreck all incoming raiders single-handedly, and Zarek can help anyone he trusts back out of the brig very easily so even that will not be a winning strategy for the cylons to take. Of course this all depends on who the cyclons turn out to be, and who can trust who. I guess it just seems like almost every character is very good if used right, but the great balancer is the cylons and the trust issues that keeps everyone from truly being able to work together at their full capacity. I guess then I'm not sure if it matters too much who people choose.
