Possible New Gamer in Glasgow area Scotland

By Gorgrim, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

hi there,

im a possible new gamer, i enjoy the hobby of Warhammer and would love to find a way to enjoy the hobby at a different pace and perspective...is this the way for me to go, i certainly hope so as i have heard good things. A few questions though;

1) Do you use minis? (i love ogres can i play as one, maybe as a mercenary)

2) Roughly how long can each scenario last?

3) Just how big is this in Scotland and how easy is it to find a group or make one?

I hope this has said exactl what i would like to know, any help would be hugely appreciated :)

Gorgrim: Check on local gaming bulletin boards at book stores, hobby stores, places where games are played and also ON LINE at: rpg.net, etc. Put up a postcard saying that you're a player looking for a group, etc. This forum isn't all that great for finding players honestly, but it never hurts to post here. A tip: most gaming groups play a variety of roleplaying games.

Scenarios typically last about 4 hours per game session and are continuous over about 1-10 game sessions.

WFRP has a pretty big following in europe in general (I'm in the states, so I just guess what it's like for you guys) ;)

Best of luck finding a group!
