That's a great link, rings. HBO does seem really high on the property at the moment. I feel pretty good we'll see the first three books at least.

If jamies gonna be in season 2 along with Margery than they are obviously moving some things around, so they can trim some of the fat later on, i think in storm of swords they are really gonna run into some issues with all the major events.

This is just Storm of Swords, all these events happen in the span of 1 book.

- Catelyn frees Jamie with Brieanne to barter for her daughters, but Vargo Hoat ends up taking off jamies hand, and Jamie saves brieanne from a bear

- Arya gets in with the Brotherhood without Banners

- THE RED WEDDING

- Arya getting on the boat to Bravos, all men must serve

- Sansa marries Tyrion

- Introducing the Red Viper

- Balon Greyjoy is dead, setting up the Kingsmoot

- Margery and Joffreys wedding ends in death, Sansa flees kings landing

- Tyrion is arrested for killing Joffrey

- Tyrions trials ends in a trial by combat with the Red Viper and the Mountain, Tyrion is sentenced to death

- Jamie forces Varys to free Tyrion who in turn kills his father with a crossbow in the privy (not a rope in the greenhouse)

- Jamie gives Brieanne Oathkeeper and sends her on a quest to find the Stark girls

- Littlefinger murders Lysa Arryn

- The Watch at the fist of the first men gets overcome by wrights and others

- Mormont is murdered at Crasters Keep

- Jon becomes a wilding, Jon falls in love, John flees from the Wildings, Jon alerts the watch, Jon is accused of Treason, Jon becomes Lord Commander

- the Battle at the Wall, mammoths and scarecrows and giants oh my

- Stannis appears defeating Mance and his host

- Daenerys goes to Astapor buys a slave army of Unsullied and promptly sacks the city and frees all the slaves

- Daenerys discovers that Jorah is a betrayer and uses him and Barristn to help sack Merreen , oh yea i forgot about Barristan

ok. . . . . . so that obviously cant be 1 season, and even if its two. . . . .that is a lot of material

I think it has to eb two seasons - and i think they have to start cutting in these scenes - no matter how loud the fan boys howl. Dany is popular, but her stuff can get trimmed way back, the Brotherhood can be trimmed back, other stuff if I think about it more. Focus on the Otehrs, the Wo5K and teh weddings and they'll be fine.
